[FRIDAY - FIVE]

1. What is your favorite type of literature to read (magazine, newspaper, novels, nonfiction, poetry, etc.)?
When I was younger it was spy novels, and I think I had a crush on the hardy boys. They could solve the mystery of my missing pants any time. Now I tend to read both fiction and nonfiction regularly. Whitney and I have tons of magazine subscriptions, which are designated for bathroom time or when we’re bored and feel like flipping through a magazine for a break from writing or just to relax. I get my news online because I can’t stand to watch the news. Basically, I’m always reading.

2. What is your favorite novel?
Hard to choose favorites for me. I really enjoyed Me Talk Pretty One Day, and am rather obsessed with the Harry Potter series.

3. Do you have a favorite poem? (Share it!)
I have a favorite poet

4. What is one thing you've always wanted to read, or wish you had more time to read?
There are so many great books out there I can’t even think about it. Never enough time in my life. I’ve though about starting a book list, but that’s one more item in my to do pile I haven’t had the time to get around to yet.

5. What are you currently reading?
Haven’t had much time for reading lately with my workload. I sit and stare at a computer all day and all night, so when I want a break I can’t afort the eye strain. However, there are several books I’ve started and am working through at a slow pace: Learn to Earn (Peter Lynch – kinda dry but useful financial stuff I’m learning, along with also reading The Idiot’s guide to 401K Plans), Holidays on Ice (David Sedaris), and The Taming of Sleeping Beauty (Ann Rice – to get me in the mood for my upcoming trip to her hometown this weekend, which, by the way, means no updates until next Thursday unless I happen upon a computer while I’m drunk on the street. Don’t count on that happening. Naked pics on the internet of Fergie shamelessly flashing his dick for beads, yes. Weblog updates, no.)
